Large carrier networks carrying high-speed traffic over state-of-the-art technologies such as MPLS, commonly provide enterprise customers with Internet services, along with SLA guarantees. Some examples of such services are L2 VPN, L3 VPN & Internet Leased Line services. In these cases, the network operations have shifted outside the enterprise, and Communication Service Providers offer managed services as an option to enterprise customers. The Enterprise Management component of the CygNet OSS suite has the capability for end-to-end management of high-end enterprise networks. Functionality includes remote monitoring of customer edge equipment, link availability, link utilization and QoS monitoring. QoS Parameters such as Packet Loss, Latency and Jitter against agreed service level targets are measured and displayed in reports. Customers also have access to a portal to track the SLA compliance and monitor their resource utilization. An added bonus is Help Desk integration for Network and Incident ticket management.
